Who are we?

We are passionate about helping you celebrate the achievements that make you proud, we understand that the pride in glory isn’t born of the moments you conquer a life-long goal or celebrate victory, it’s about the journey that got you there, the blood, sweat and tears, the struggle endured and the obstacles overcome.

It’s about the hope at the start of the journey, those times you doubted you could do it, and the excitement as you found your goal within touching distance and you believed this really might happen.

We know what it means to be proud, and we are relentless in our quest to ensure our triumph’s are remembered with the same powerful feelings of euphoria, joy and jubilation that our victories gave us.

The Proud Collective was founded in 2014 by award winning designer, Leigh Riley. An information design specialist by trade, Leigh has over 14 years experience picking apart information to create engaging stories that capture the imagination of his audiences through visual communication. Leigh champions taking pride in achievement, and has been lucky enough to achieve many of his goals himself. Most notably having cycled the Deloitte Ride Across Britain in 2017, a 960 mile, 9 day cycle from Lands End to John O’Groats, spanning the length of the United Kingdom raising over £3,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support. We believe that the grit and determination required to complete such challenges should be celebrated and displayed loud and proud for all to see.

As a passionate Leicester City fan, Leigh knows exactly what it means to be proud of his club too, having experienced a meteoric rise from League One to Premier League Champions in just 10 years. After his beloved Leicester City won promotion to the Premier League back in 2014, Leigh wanted to use his skills as a designer to celebrate the incredible, record-breaking season he had just witnessed, he wanted something that would not only display his passion for the club with pride, but also trigger memories from throughout the season that would help relive those precious moments time and time again. A good example of this is the squirrel icon next to the QPR fixture, a reminder of the 5 minutes Leicester striker David Nugent spent chasing a squirrel off the pitch while the game was in play - something that still makes us laugh now! Soon after The Proud Collective (then trading as Made By Rileigh) was born and over 1560 happy customers later we continue to help others celebrate their passion with pride.
